Has been crazy-busy...but pretty fun, for the most part.
Time for some bullet points? I think so.
Time for some bullet points? I think so.
- Good news! The company I was working at part time during school offered me a full time position! I work in an accounting department, so it really doesn't have much to do with my degree, but we thought it through and prayed about it and it is just the best place for me right now. Plus, I love the people I work with, I get paid time off, holiday pay...and come August I get health insurance, dental insurance, and life insurance. That is the life my friends.
- Some not so good news: The day before my graduation Jayson had a really bad headache. We figure, eh, it's just a headache and shrugged it off. Then, the day of my graduation he woke up feeling very ill. Being the trooper and sweet guy he is, he decided to still come to my graduation. He was sick for days and didn't seem to be getting better, so he went to the doctor. The unthinkable happened. He was diagnosed with MONO!!!! We have NO idea how he got it or anything. We had never even thought of that as an option. He's all better now, but it sure put a damper on the whole, him finding him a job during the summer thing.
- More good news: Jayson is better now and got a temporary job with my dad's company for three weeks! However, my dad says that he is pretty sure they'll have enough work to extend his temporary job until he goes back to school. yay!!!
- This is the first time that both of us have worked full time at the same time during our marriage. Life is good for us. I do miss seeing him during the day like we used to during school, but I can't complain because we've been so blessed to have these full time jobs!
- And like I said, we've been crazy busy. We've had weddings galore and more to come. That's alright with me though, I love a good wedding. We've seriously never had this many weddings in one summer to attend, and that's saying something. A lot of them are really important weddings too, of cousins and really close friends.
- Memorial weekend we went to Lake Powell with my dad, Uncle, cousin, dad's friend, and one of my best friends Marni, and her husband. As usual, it was bliss. I simply love that place. The beautiful red rocks, the lake, the sun, the relaxing...sigh. I plan to make an entire post dedicated to Lake Powell. Stay tuned. Plus, we listened to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the ride, which was most enjoyable. Obviously.
- Jayson's youngest sibling, Jana graduated high school and so did my step sister Chelsie, whoohoo! Congrats girls.:)

So awesome that you guys both have great jobs! What a blessing! And that Jayson's finally better. That is so so fabulous. Also, I did not know that little Kelli had hives a week before I did... I should talk to Maria. Thank you for that little tidbit of info!
Glad life is good for you! Woot for benefits!!! I need a better job... lol.
