The Smoosh Face

The other day at work I was looking at this picture, which I have at my desk:

It's super silly, but I just love it. Then, I got t thinking about this picture:

It's probably my very favorite of all of our engagement photos. Whenever I see it I think "Jayson is such a goober", because that's what his sister Jana said when she first saw it.

And then I realized that there are actually a fair amount of pictures that are like this. Pictures where I'm trying to strike a cute smiley post and Jayson is smooshing his face into mine, while making a super weird and usually kind of hideous expression. I have no idea why I never realized this until the other day, but it's a little funny. None of these are planned. It just happens. Jayson doesn't think to himself, "hhmmm...time for another smooshy face picture!" He just does it. Please observe:

 You guys, the picture above is hilarious. It's my very favorite picture of our wedding. I'm trying to look all pretty and Jayson and his two younger sisters are making some incredible faces.

Ok, so the one above was planned. It was a reenactment of one of these pictures. I don't remember which one, but at this point we didn't realize there were this many. We just knew there was one and that we thought it was funny. I'm pretty sure it's of the engagement picture. Also, the picture above might just be the very worst picture of us together of all time. 

I also should point out that these pictures are an incredibly false representation of our relationship. I'm actually the nuttier one, only most people don't know that. 

And, well, that's really all I have to say about that. Because, I mean, What else is there to say, really?
