Are You Ready?

It all started as Jayson and I were driving down to Lake Powell for Memorial weekend with on of my best friends Marni, and her husband Jeff. Since it's sort of a lenghty drive I got this brilliant idea (or maybe it was Jayson's idea...I can't remember.) to bring some Harry Potter books on CD to listen to. We decided on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. This was wonderful.
Confession: before this I had never re-visited the Harry Potter books. GASP! End confession.
Listening to this book was like visiting an old friend. Not the awkward meeting, but the kind where you see a friend you haven't seen in years and it's like you were never parted. From then on I knew what I had to do. I decided then and there. I was to re-read the whole series before the movie came out. I read half of the first book when I realized..hey! I can totally listen to these at work while I do spreadsheets. So, that's exactly what I did, and it was WONDERFUL. I would go back and forth, at work I'd listen and in spare time on camping trips or at home I'd read where I left off from the CD's. These books are AMAZING and I loved them even more the second time around. Plus, Jim Dale is the greatest thing that ever happened to story reading.
I have re-read/ listened to all the books since May.
I have re-watched all of the movies, save the 6th one...which I plan to watch not too long before the new movie comes out. Needless to say, I am stoked out of my mind for this video.
I AM READY.

I'm not ready yet! I have to finish reading the books! I'm only on book 3! All well. I'm going to go see it anyway! :) I'll just have to finish reading the books after I watch it. What do you do? I'm so excited though!

Haha. I'm so ready! It's crazy that Harry Potter has spread over a decade, and is STILL coming out with new things (since the movies are "new," even though they're based on the books). Eek!!

OH my goodness! I can't wait either! I'm just WAY bummed that I can't go to the midnight showing! I have to wait about a WEEK AFTER it comes out to see it. Oh well, it will be worth it!
