Happiness comes in many forms for me these days. Let me bullet point the ways...
As you can see, life is good.
- Eating Cafe Rio, shopping at Target, and Watching Aquamarine (That's right, we're not ashamed. Right girls..?) with two of my favorite people, Marni (who was here visitng from Arizona!!) and Vienna (visiting from the far off land of Logan).
- One of my best friends, Sue, coming home from her mission!!
- Purchasing Tangled and watching it with said Sue.
- Another one of my besties, Sarah, coming to visit from California
- Jayson and I went on a grand date last weekend. We went out to dinner AND a movie. I don't know why, but that feels like a big deal. Not because we don't go on dates (we do), but maybe because it was a fairly expensive date? Nonetheless it was fabulous. Olive Garden and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Jayson. What's not to love?
- Two of Jayson's cousins that we see pretty often had babies (one per cousin).
- I'm getting a new nephew in like a month! EEE!!!
- General Conference is this weekend. I love general conference. I have for years and years. I always feel kind of nerdy and churchy when I say that, but I can't lie; I've been looking forward to it for weeks.
- My step sister, her husband, and their little one is moving in with my Dad and Step-mom. They were in St. George before, so I didn't really get to see them much, but now I'll see them plenty! That's kind of like getting a new nephew. I love those.
- My favorite band in the entire world, Death Cab for Cutie is releasing an album in May. I am beyond stoked. (Sarah Carr, you are not allowed to comment on this bullet point.)
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is just around the corner. Ok, fine, it's still like 3 1/2 months away, but I'm already getting excited for it!
- The people I'm surrounded by. Seriously, I am probably the luckiest person in the world. I know the most amazing and wonderful people!
- Jayson's dad offered to let him work with the mechanics that work for his company on Saturdays! I know...work...on Saturdays? But listen, these guys are geniuses. They have literally rebuilt THOUSANDS of deisel engines. They are AMAZING and Jayson really loves mechanics, so he is super stoked. Plus, he gets to choose a different day off during the week to substitute his Saturdays. It's fun to him so excited about his job. I love it!
- Mostly, I have just been really happy as of late. It's just one of those times, you know, when nothing in life has really changed, but you just feel so incredibly happy. I probably a lot of this to my newly returned missionary friend Sue. The day she came home I remember her saying that she just wants to be good. It seems random, but it really stuck out to me. It inspired me. I realized that I have been so much better in the past and that I haven't been trying my best to be my best. So, I've set out list past week to do so and it has made so incredibly happy.
As you can see, life is good.
